Know your worth

Having discussed the topic of boundaries, I think it's only fair that I talk about knowing your worth.

As Rupi Kaur said, I'm not the whiskey you want, I'm the water you need. And wouldn't it be great if more people learn this about themselves.

People suffer from a complex, a lot of people do, a complex that make them feel that they deserve the way they are being treated, they think that they will be rewarded sooner or later for being treated like that, but if someone can recognize and appreciate your efforts they definitely wouldn't treat you this way in the first place.

Part of knowing your worth also means knowing when to give up the toxic relationship that is nothing but a nuisance to you and your mental health.

As much as our generation is educated about self worth, sometimes they just can't differentiate between the good and bad, our generation is in a constant struggle of whether to compromise or give yourself what you are actually worth, when in reality they are both completely different things.

So, go and stay where you are needed, not where you are wanted.
