Yin to my Yang

Once upon a time there was a woman, a woman who used to live and enjoy life happily and worry free, but for some reason (good or bad), she got married.

Now, It’s not like that woman is totally unaware of her responsibilities or that she is completely a newbie in her home/kitchen life, but doing everything from scratch without any guidance and someone to rely on, the woman gets frustrated and confused. What could she be doing wrong, is she doing enough, is she enough, is this what her life’s gonna look like for the rest of her life ? Always juggling and still feeling she is not doing enough?

Now comes, the knight in the shining armor. Yes, the woman might be of the view that she is an independent, strong and know it all person, but that woman was long gone. This woman was the one who knew that there’s always someone Yin to your Yang, and that’s how she is cultivating a culture and environment, where both the partners, man and woman contribute to the household equally.

Yin to my yang, good in bad, bad in good

If it was not for the Yin to woman’s Yang, she would have given up, and if it was not for Yang, Yin would have never thought about doing everything that he does.

That’s how the woman realized and learnt an important lesson in life, shared responsibility and codependency is the way to go.

Tho that does not mean things are gonna be any easier or that woman expects everything to be put on a plate for her, but she understands that she has someone to rely on, someone who’s appreciating her and being considerate about her efforts, and sometimes that’s just enough.

Toodles.

Its okay to not be okay, Kin Soo Hyun
