Self care or Selfish ?
Far too often I hear women (and my sister) say that they don’t have time to keep up.
Between house chores and being a good mum to their kids, they often forget about themselves.
But despite having a tough schedule and tiring routine, one thing I always stand by and recommend to my friends as well is to take out time for yourself.
Do something, anything that makes you happy and helps you keep you sane.
Watch a movie, cook something for yourself, treat yourself with some take out food and spa and a nice relaxing facial.
Self care is a big term that can include everything and anything that makes you feel good about yourself, it's about taking care of yourself so that you have the mental energy to take care of others.
And start taking out some time for yourself, 1-2 hours in a week is all you need and you will see a change in your mental space I promise.
