Relationships in the face of adversity

Relationships, just like people, need to evolve

The kinda issues our parents used to face are not the kind of problems we face.

A relationship might just run its course if we expect it to be the same from start to finish. Gone are the times when the family used to be completely patriarchal, I am not saying it should be matriarchal but the balance can only be found when both the parties can and will make the decisions together and collectively.

There's a reason why it's considered that people who have been together for 5-10 years are more likely to survive challenges than those who only have been together for a year or so.

Spending time together does not mean getting to know each other, it means challenging each other, seeing what are the weak and strong points of your opponent.

In the end in my opinion the strongest relationship is the one where one partner lacks a certain skill and the other partner makes up for it and vice versa.
